This compact and easy-to-use device makes your daily work easier, thanks in particular to its ergonomically shaped lever, which ensures excellent control of the descent. Its AUTO-LOCK system allows you to easily position yourself at your workstation without manual intervention. The shape of the clamping cam reduces wear and tear and makes the device more durable. To meet your intensive use and working conditions, or simply to provide a more sustainable solution, the RIG is also available in a repairable version.

User-friendly

Guide groove and markings simplify and speed up rope insertion.

The ergonomically shaped lever ensures good handling and excellent control of the descent.

The movable, opening side panel makes it easier to pass intermediate anchors, as the device remains attached to the harness.

Device equipped with AUTO-LOCK system: This allows you to position yourself at the work site without having to operate the lever or detach the device.

When the rope is removed, the lever automatically moves to the “parking position.” This reduces the risk of the descender getting caught when carried on the harness.

Versatile applications

Two possible rappelling modes: on the side panel or in the V-shaped brake groove equipped with brake hooks, which ensures better control of the rappelling descent and limits twisting of the rope.

The device can be used on the harness or on the anchor point.

After locking, short ascents on the rope are possible by pulling in the rope without activating the lever.

Can also be used for lead climbing.

Durability and repairability

A reinforcement protects the movable side plate from rope friction and thus from premature wear.

The shape of the clamping cam improves rope blocking and thus reduces wear on the device.

To enable a more sustainable solution or to cope with intensive use and working conditions, the RIG is also available in a repairable version (D021BA00 / D021BA01): the repair kit (sold separately, reference D021CA00) allows you to replace the clamping cam and pin.

Physically

– Rope Diameter 9.5-11.5mm
– by Standard CE EN 12841 type C, CE EN 341 type 2 class A, CE EN 15151-1, ANSI Z459.1, ANSI Z359.9, NFPA 2500 Technical Use, GB/T 38230 II A, XF 494 : FZL-X-Q10/11.5
– Housing Aluminum, stainless steel, polyamide
– Weight 0,406 kg

Compact descender for rope-assisted work, designed for experienced users.
