Detailed description

The PIXA 3 is a robust and versatile headlamp. Thanks to its different light cones, it adapts to any work situation: Working at close range, travelling and long-range vision. CONSTANT LIGHTING technology: the luminosity does not diminish as the batteries run down. It fulfils the requirements of the ATEX directive for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Zone 2/22 II 3 GD Ex nA ic IIB T4 Gc tc IIIC T135°C Dc).

Features

• With the headlamp, the user has both hands free to work. It can be:

– worn on the head with the headband

– attached to a helmet using the fastening system (included)

– or placed on the ground

• Headlamp with CONSTANT LIGHTING technology: the light intensity does not diminish as the batteries run down.
• Multiple light modes for different requirements:

– Light mode for working at close range: wide, homogeneous light cone

– Light mode for moving around: combined light cone with a focussed component for safe movement

– Lighting mode for distance vision: focussed light cone

• Reliable, practical and robust headlamp for professional users:

– automatic switch to reserve mode when the batteries are almost empty (flashing signal and illumination of the red indicator light)

– Ergonomic rotary switch, can also be operated with gloves

– Transport position: protects the glass of the headlamp and prevents accidental switching on

– can be used in potentially explosive environments with occasional risks

– excellent drop (2 m), impact and pressure resistance (80 kg)

– comfortable, washable, elasticated headband

– Chemical resistant
