- The ASAP LOCK is an essential component of your fall protection system and accompanies you in your daily work as a worker at height in areas that are difficult to access. During normal use while moving along the rope, the device moves independently without manual intervention. In the event of a fall or an uncontrolled descent (more than two meters per second), the device locks onto the rope and catches you. The integrated LOCK function allows you to stop the device to reduce your fall height. The connecting arm makes it easier to pass intermediate anchors, as it protects the device from falling, and the safety locks facilitate the insertion of the rope. To ensure that the ASAP LOCK is also ready for use in rescue situations, it can be used in combination with the ASAP’SORBER AXESS fall absorber.
Rope-guided fall arrest device
- Catches falls and stops uncontrolled rappelling at speeds exceeding two meters per second.
- Locks onto the rope even if you grab the device during the fall.
- Works on vertical, horizontal, or inclined ropes.
- Compatible with a wide range of ropes from 10 to 13 mm in diameter.
