Detailed description
- The AVAO FAST harness is specially designed for working at height. Its design is specially adapted to the particularities of workplace positioning and rope descent. The preformed foam padding and the semi-rigid design of the waist belt and leg loops ensure increased comfort during use. The hip belt with its metal side attachment loops, gear loops and attachment options for gear holders makes it easy to stow the equipment required for a day’s work. The belt can also be adjusted easily, practically and quickly thanks to the self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles and the opening FAST buckles.

- In the event of a fall into the dorsal fall arrest eyelet, a red fall indicator appears, indicating that the harness must be discarded.
– The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps reduce friction points on the neck or throat
– The movable harness straps ensure increased comfort and optimum freedom of movement.
– All contact surfaces (shoulder straps, waist belt and leg loops) are made of preformed foam with breathable lining fabric so that the worker can move and work comfortably.
– The hip belt and leg loops are semi-rigid and therefore ensure optimum positioning and a perfect hold of the harness on the person using it.
– The metal side attachment loops can be folded away to prevent them from getting caught when not in use.
– The back of the thighs is equipped with elastic straps (interchangeable – available as an accessory) which ensure that the correct adjustment is maintained both when walking and sitting in the harness.

– The shoulder straps are equipped with a stowage system for lanyards of a fall arrest lanyard, so that the lanyard does not obstruct the person using it and the lanyards are always within reach.
– The ventral metal D-ring is equipped with eyelets for attaching a PODIUM or LITEPOD seat board.
– The ventral connection eyelet is equipped with a special textile loop on which a lanyard can be installed using a RING OPEN connection ring.

Holding eyelets
- Central eyelet: For attaching an abseiling device, a lanyard for work positioning to an eyelet, a seat board to the ventral D-ring and a lanyard using a RING OPEN installed at the textile attachment point.
- Lateral retaining eyelets: For attaching a lanyard for work positioning to both attachment eyelets.
- Front fall arrest eyelet at chest height: For attaching a fall arrest system.
- Rear fall arrest eyelet: For attaching a fall arrest system.
- Eyelet on the back of the waist belt: For attaching a restraint system.
