Detailed description
- The AVAO SIT FAST seat and support harness is specially designed for working at height when a lightweight and modular solution is required. It can be converted into a complete harness with a TOP or TOP CROLL chest harness. Its design is specially adapted to the particularities of workplace positioning and rope descent. The preformed foam padding and the semi-rigid design of the hip belt and leg loops ensure increased comfort during use. The hip belt with its metal side attachment loops, gear loops and attachment options for gear holders makes it easy to stow the equipment required for a day’s work. The harness is also quick and easy to adjust thanks to the self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles on the waist belt and the opening FAST buckles on the leg loops.

- Comfortable construction:
- Seat and support harness that can easily be converted into a complete harness: directly with a TOP or TOP CROLL chest harness using a RING OPEN or locking ring.
- Practical adjustment:
- Practical design for easy transportation and clear distribution of equipment:
– All contact surfaces (waist belt and leg loops) are made of preformed foam with breathable lining fabric so that the person working can move and work comfortably.
– The hip belt and leg loops are semi-rigid and therefore ensure optimum positioning and a perfect hold of the harness on the person using it.
– The metal side attachment loops can be folded away to prevent them from getting caught when not in use.
– The back of the thighs is fitted with elastic straps (interchangeable – available as an accessory) which ensure that the correct adjustment is maintained both when walking and sitting in the harness.
– Thanks to the self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles on the waist belt and leg loops, the harness is practical and easy to adjust.
– The anti-slip elements attached to the DOUBLEBACK buckles ensure that the adjustment is maintained during work phases.
– The ventral metal D-ring is equipped with eyelets for attaching a PODIUM or LITEPOD seat board.
– The ventral connection eyelet is equipped with a special textile loop on which a lanyard can be installed using a RING OPEN connection ring.
– Two lateral metal fastening eyelets for attaching a lanyard to both eyelets for workplace positioning.
– Five sheathed, preformed material loops.
– Two fastening options for CARITOOL device holders or INTERFAST fastening systems.
Holding eyelets
- Central eyelet: For attaching an abseiling device, a lanyard for work positioning to an eyelet, a seat board to the ventral D-ring and a lanyard using a RING OPEN installed at the textile attachment point.
- Lateral retaining eyelets: For attaching a lanyard for workplace positioning to both fastening eyelets.
- Eyelet on the back of the waist belt: For attaching a restraint system.
