Detailed description

The PIXA 3R is a robust, rechargeable headlamp designed for frequent use by professional users. Thanks to its different light cones, it adapts to any work situation: Close-range work, travelling and long-range vision. CONSTANT LIGHTING technology: The light intensity does not decrease as the battery gets weaker. It fulfils the requirements of the ATEX directive for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Zone 2/22 II 3 GD Ex ic IIB T4 Gc IIIC T135° C Dc).

Features

• With the headlamp, the user has both hands free to work. It can be:

– worn on the head with the headband

– attached to a helmet with the fastening system (included)

– or placed on the ground

• The integrated lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery, combined with a quick-charging station (3 hours), is designed for frequent use.
• Headlamp with CONSTANT LIGHTING technology: the brightness does not diminish as the battery gets weaker.
• Multiple light modes for different requirements:

– Light mode for working at close range: wide, homogeneous light cone

– Light mode for moving around: combined light cone with a focussed component for safe movement

– Lighting mode for distance vision: focussed light cone

• The light duration can be adjusted to adapt the light output to the user’s requirements (short operation of the rotary switch):

– STANDARD: balanced ratio between luminosity and light duration

– MAX AUTONOMY: maximum lighting duration

– MAX POWER: maximum luminosity

• Reliable, practical and robust headlamp for professional users:

– Automatic switchover to reserve mode when the battery is almost discharged (flashing signal and illumination of the red indicator light)

– ergonomic rotary switch, can also be operated with gloves
– transport position: protects the glass of the headlamp and prevents unintentional switching on

– the lamp or battery can be charged in the charging station alone

– can be used in potentially explosive environments with occasional risks

– excellent drop (2 m), impact and pressure resistance (80 kg)

– comfortable, washable, elasticated headband
