- The VOLT WIND is a 5-point fall arrest and restraint harness designed specifically for those who work at height and regularly move around wind turbine towers. It can be put on with your feet on the ground and is easy to attach thanks to the opening FAST buckles. Adjustment is particularly quick with the self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles. The comfortable design ensures the necessary comfort and allows for optimal adjustment and correct positioning when working at height. The ventral LADDER CLIMB fall protection eyelet allows a runner to be attached for easy and comfortable movement on a rail or wire rope system. The protective plates on the back of the shoulder straps and hip belt protect the straps from wear and tear caused by friction when moving around inside wind turbine towers. Thanks to the gear loops and attachment points for gear holders, you can organize and transport all the equipment you need for your assignments in a clear and orderly manner.
Quick to put on and easy to adjust without having to readjust while working
- Can be quickly put on with both feet on the ground.
- The waistbelt, sternum strap, and leg loops are equipped with FAST buckles for quick and easy opening and closing (even with gloves) without changing the settings.
- The shoulder straps and waistbelt are equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for easy and practical adjustment.
- The anti-slip elements attached to the DOUBLEBACK buckles ensure that the adjustment is maintained during work phases.
Comfortable and ergonomic use
- The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps reduce friction points on the neck or throat.
- All contact surfaces (shoulder straps, hip belt, and leg loops) are made of pre-shaped foam with breathable lining fabric, allowing the worker to move and work comfortably.
- The movable and adjustable straps on the back provide increased freedom of movement and adapt perfectly to your body shape.
- The adjustable strap between the back plate and the waist belt ensures that the harness fits correctly.
- The waist belt and leg loops are semi-rigid, ensuring optimal support.
- The foam pads can be moved to ensure the leg loops fit perfectly.
- The back of the thighs is fitted with elastic straps (available as spare parts, can be replaced by the user) which ensure that the correct setting is maintained both when walking and sitting in the harness.

- When moving vertically on a rail or wire rope system, it allows the runner to be secured in a ventral position to better distribute the load on the hip belt.
- In the event of a fall, the fall protection eyelet automatically moves upward to the sternal position to ensure an upright body position after the fall.
Practical
- The textile dorsal attachment point allows you to attach a fall arrest device.
- The two side textile loops allow you to attach a seat board for greater comfort when hanging freely.
- The two side attachment points can be folded away to prevent accidental snagging when not in use.
- The shoulder straps are equipped with a stowage system for MGO connectors.
- The waist belt is equipped with two gear loops and two attachment points for a CARITOOL tool holder and a TOOLBAG tool bag to organize the equipment needed for a day’s work.
- In the event of a fall into the dorsal fall arrest eyelet, a red fall indicator appears, indicating that the harness must be discarded.
